With the same chalk clay soil as found in Champagne and a similar climate, it’s no wonder the Roberts family's Trophy winning sparklers have the French twitching. The Blanc de Blancs has the finesse and toasty complexity to rival the world's best.

Since 2000 the Roberts’ superb Ridgeview sparklers have notched up over 120 awards – including the coveted Decanter World Wine Awards ‘Best Sparkling Wine’ title, and UK producer of the year at the 2010 International Wine Challenge. “Higher quality than Champagnes costing nearly three times as much” wrote the Daily Telegraph; “English sparkling fizz at its best” put the Guardian. They were the bubbles of choice at Her Majesty’s 80th birthday lunch, too. This is their Blanc de Blancs – pure Chardonnay, handcrafted every step with secondary ferment in bottle, just like Champagne. Crisp, elegant with Chardonnay’s classic creamy length and showing all the delicious quality that you’d expect of this estate. A fine bottle for celebrations.
