As they say at Skinner’s, “You can’t get a better co-worker than a bee! Striking uniform, very industrious, and they love a little dance.” And thanks to the bees Skinner’s are able to add honey to the hops and enrich the flavour of this refreshing amber ale. It’s devotedly Cornish too: as well as honey there’s whole-flower Celeia, Northdown and Aurora hops, Cornish malted barley and wheat, Skinner’s unique yeast, and Cornish water. Skinner’s beers are reputedly the ‘hoppiest’ in this sunny county, the whole-flower hops working their magic as they’re thrown into traditional copper stills, each at a carefully judged moment to give the right amount of bitter sweetness. Enjoy this tasty ale with game, sausages or even a chocolate fudge sundae!

"Our ale is conditioned for just the right amount of time before we bottle it for the world to enjoy!" Steve Skinner
