Norrel Robertson MW is a renowned winemaker, who's struck a blinding trail in the outback regions of Spain. He was born close to Dundee, started in retail, but soon decided winemaking was where he wanted to be. His nickname 'El Escocés Volante' – the flying Scotsman – is well earned: he spent a few years making wine all over the world, parachuting in, making the vintage, then moving on. However, when he arrived in Spain he loved it so much, he's never left. He thinks the quality of the grapes in many of the country's tiniest regions is the best in the world and makes award winning, rule breaking wines to prove it. Whoever has heard of Shiraz from Bullas? He found a fabulous parcel of it and crafted this smooth, complex red. Ideal with lamb.
