Santo Isidro NV

Vinho Regional Península de Setúbal

The Independent called this Portuguese fizz "a revelation". And we couldn't agree more. Santo Isidro is a citrusy, creamy and elegant gem from star winemaker Jaime Quendera. Made using the same method as Champagne, it delivers outstanding value.

Santo Isidro is an exciting new release from Jaime Quendera, the highly awarded, Parker-rated winemaker at the Pegões cellar in Península de Setúbal. Made using the same method as Champagne, but with local grapes Fernão Pires and Moscatel, this wine delivers all the class of top fizz and outstanding value. It's no wonder it earned its 'Wine of the Week' status in The Independent: “We see very little sparkling wine from Portugal and so Santo Isidro is a bit of a revelation and punches way above its price point. Lightly toasty, a little richer than prosecco, with some spicy hints and a lovely golden colour.” A must have for adding a bit of extra sparkle to an occasion. Which, at this price, could be any time you fancy. Felicidades!
