More information
There’s nothing more refreshing than crisp, zippy Chilean rosé. This one certainly takes advantage of the country’s success with the Bordeaux grape Cabernet, using high grown fruit to give extra dazzle. It comes from the well established Luis Felipe Edwards estate, which can boast of winning Chile’s ‘Winery of the Year’ four times over. LFE is a substantial, completely family owned concern that uses only estate grown grapes. Winemaker is the talented Nicolas Bizzarri, Luis Felipe Edwards Snr’s son-in-law and highly awarded for his wines. He added a portion of spicy, blackberry scented Shiraz to the wine that greatly enhances its ripe berry charm. Delicious solo or with white meats and creamy vegetarian dishes. And ideal on a picnic, too.
