Riesling is arguably the finest white grape but it faces a public relations challenge because many people still expect it to be sweet. Rest assured, Riversong is deliciously dry, and with ripe tropical fruit it’s a great all rounder, with or without food. This delightful fresh white uses grapes grown in the temperate climate of Chile’s Maule Valley, south of Santiago. It is from the well established Luis Felipe Edwards estate that can boast of winning Chile’s ‘Winery of the Year’ three times over. LFE are proudly family owned and use only estate grown grapes. Winemaker is the highly awarded Nicolas Bizzarri, Luis Felipe Edwards Snr’s son-in-law. With passion fruit and lime character, this white is a joy with Thai stir-fries or grilled fish.
