Riversong Pinot Grigio 2017

Valle del Maule

Riversong is fresh, bright and pure – and a wonderful expression of this grape and the high vineyards of Chile’s Maule Valley. Made by three time ‘Chilean Winery of the Year’, this is a tasty white with lively, stony, apricot fruit and lemony zip.

Pinot Grigio has taken the wine world by storm in recent years. Dry, refreshing and oh so easy to drink – no wonder everyone wants it in their glass. But only top-notch winemakers manage to produce Pinot Grigio with real character and flair. Step forward Chile’s highly acclaimed Luis Felipe Edwards, triple winner of ‘Chilean Winery of the Year’. This family estate sources high grown Pinot Grigio from their Maule Valley vineyards for Riversong. And the name? It’s from the lyrical noise of the river that flows through the valley, which to the local Mapuche people sounds like the song of the Fio Fio bird. With spring blossom aromas and gentle peach and pear notes, this white is lovely solo or paired with a spicy chicken salad or seafood.
