More information
Balanced, fruit forward, well structured, cassis and cedar wood, effortlessly drinkable – this is excellent value, quality claret at its best. It is from the small, but concentrated 2017 vintage, which produced some exceptional wines, such as this one. It also benefits from the talented craftsmanship of Cru Bourgeois château Ramage La Bâtisse. We’ve been buying from them for 15 years but never thought to ask for this special, earlier drinking cuvée. We thought it was set to stay in France. Made by the same cellar team, but from vats that won’t make the Grand Vin and are ready for enjoyment earlier, this is a classic Haut-Médoc, Cabernet dominated blend. Perfect for those who like a glass of claret, full of rich fruit and classic poise.
