Deep Gully marries the spicy, peppery fruit of Shiraz with the dark colour, rich cassis notes and structural tannins of Cabernet. It’s a time honoured combination that is loved Down Under and has found fame worldwide. With so many friends and colleagues in Australia, our man on the ground Dan Parrott was not about to settle for second best and went that extra mile (literally!) to find the ultimate expression of this classic style. After tasting hundreds of contenders he chose Deep Gully as our go-to signature Aussie red. Crafted exclusively for us, it tastes like it should be a much more expensive wine. Delicious served simply on its own, it’s also superb with a beef and mushroom pie, rib-eye steak, sausages and mash, or farmhouse cheeses.
