Beyond the Label
A soft attack develops into a peppery, smoky finish with spicy notes
Intense vanilla with floral notes and hints of banana, fig and toffee
Here’s a ‘must try’ dram for whisky aficionados everywhere. Glenfiddich 21 Year Old is complex, spicy and deliciously unique thanks to its finish in premium Caribbean rum casks. Like all the whiskies in Glenfiddich’s impressive range, this is long aged in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, in the distillery’s cool barrel storehouse. However, during its 21st year, Malt Master Brian Kinsman carefully transferred the whisky from selected barrels into rum casks sourced from the Caribbean. This exotic finish imbues enticingly sweet layers of banana, fig and toffee alongside intense notes of spice, combining to give you this unique expression of Glenfiddich. Initially smooth, each sip develops into a long, flavourful finish.
"You’ll understand why this won Best Scotch Malt Trophy after your very first sip – one to savour"
