Mount Richmond Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Marlborough

Marlborough Sauvignon is still the UK’s darling white. But with prices rocketing, we made it our mission to find one that would dazzle you with value as much as flavour. Assisted by the makers of our beloved Sunday Bay, this is 'mission accomplished!

Phil and Chris Rose are one of the original pioneers of Marlborough and vines and have made some of our best selling Kiwi whites. They were, unsurprisingly, our first port of call when we were on our latest mission: to find our customers a Sauvignon with all the dazzling, grassy fresh, ripe fruit you'd expect, but at a surprisingly modest price. They combed through every inch of Marlborough, called upon all their grape growing friends and, together, we've succeeded in creating this ravishing and vivacious 2017 release of Mount Richmond. It has the classic ‘leap from the glass’ passionfruit and cut grass aromas and generous tropical fruit. Chill the wine down and enjoy as a glass on its own or with salmon or a spicy fish cakes or stir-fry.

"You can’t beat the exuberant ripe fruit and freshness of Marlborough Sauvignon and this is a winner" Dan Parrott
