The Zonin family have been growers in Italy’s Veneto since 1821 and, still family owned, their estates throughout Italy are now run by the seventh generation. They expanded into Friuli in the 1920s, where they make our Gold medal Ca’ Bolani Prosecco – a frizzante with a lively bubble. And now also this irresistible ‘leggero’ style Prosecco. Made from the Glera grape, Luminoso is a refreshing drop and nicely lower in alcohol. It adds a special touch to any celebration or get together – it’s a great choice any time you want a little bit of sparkle. Winemaker Stefano Ferrante has extensive experience throughout Italy and the New World and was also advised by the late Denis Dubourdieu, consultant supremo. No wonder the results are so delicious.
