Looking for a new grape or blend to try? Lost World is just the ticket. With typical Aussie irreverence for convention, it blends the northern Rhône’s prized Viognier with southern Italy’s treasured Fiano. Our Buyer Dan had noted each cuvée on his post harvest tasting trips around some of South Australia’s top cool climate regions. ‘Bingo!’, thought Dan, the two vats would make a perfect marriage. The Viognier provides spicy apricot and floral notes, while Fiano has a creamy, nutty, apricot charm. Lees aged, the wine has a satisfying roundness and it’s weighty, with a streak of bright citrusy freshness to balance, thanks to those cooling ocean breezes. Chill down and serve on its own, with medallions of pork or with spicy Thai dishes.

"If you’re after a bright, pick-me-up glass of white, Lost World will do the trick admirably" Dan Parrott
