Taste why Wine Spectator’s Matt Kramer calls Portugal “the most exciting wine place on the planet today” with this deeply satisfying white. The peachy, gently spiced Lobo e Falcão Branco is just as popular as its red sibling – truly mouthwatering!

Casal Branco dates back to the 17th century and served as the King of Portugal’s falconry. Lobo e Falcão (Wolf and Falcon) is a tribute to winemaker José Lobo de Vasconcelos’ ancestors, who were its caretakers. It is a blend of native Portuguese grape Fernão Pires, plus Alvarinho and Moscatel (aka Albariño and Muscat), which thrive in the estate’s sandy soils and ripen to perfection under the Portuguese sun. Gentle oak aging imparts further richness and roundness (not overt oakiness). You’ll love its aromas of juicy, ripe peach, hints of cedar and orange blossom, followed by rich, bright flavours of stone fruit, spice and grapey freshness. Opulent and aromatic, this is a top pick solo or with Asian style meals, seafood or vegetarian dishes.

"Lovely drinkable stuff! So much going on with this wine - vanilla, ripe peaches, slightly spicy" Online Review
