Abbesse is our No.1 Loire Sauvignon Blanc from the talented Bougrier family estate. It’s enjoyed two decades of popularity for its bright, vibrant character, so head of the family Noël wanted to mark the anniversary. And he's done that with this fabulous tiny-release edition, really dialling up the Sauvignon elegance and finesse. Harvesting premium grapes from a small, two-hectare vineyard at the heart of the family estate in Touraine, they've made just 750 cases of Les Secrets. Its name pays tribute to the last Abbesse of Fontevraud Abbey nearby. Filled with secrets, legend has it that she escaped the Abbey through a hidden door in the attic which was once Fontevraud’s prison! Enjoy its pure citrusy flavour with seafood or goat's cheese.
