Fabulous, weighty, 91pt Barossa Cabernet from an iconic cellar. Langmeil was founded 170 years ago and has reached new heights in the hands of the Lindner family. From a "ripper Barossa vintage” (Paul Lindner) it's a powerful, oak-aged masterpiece.

Within the premium Barossa sits the historic Langmeil Winery. Founded in 1842 it’s home to what is believed to be the world’s oldest Shiraz vineyard, The Freedom 1843. At the helm of this prestigious winery are the Lindner family, whose own mark on the region spans six-generations. While husband and wife, Richard and Shirley Lindner manage the business operations their son Paul takes the reins from vineyard to cellar. Together they have “taken Langmeil into the top echelon of Barossa wineries” says critic Huon Hooke. A statement that’s supported by James Halliday’s rating as a 5 Red Star winery. A top achievement. This is their 91pts, barrel-aged Cabernet Sauvignon – a rich medley of smoky, bramble black fruits that simmer in the glass.
