Since its foundation in 2002, the Chakana estate has soared to success. It’s no accident, but thanks to hard work and a great team. Responsible for the vines is Argentina’s finest viticulturalist, Pedro Parra, while Italy’s renowned Alberto Antonini is consultant. The top grape is Malbec, which revels in the clear sunshine of Argentina, producing wine with velvety ripe fruit. Grapes for this special edition Inca Tree are grown at 1,100 metres – that's high and means that temperatures at night plummet. The result is an elegance, freshness and purity of fruit you'll find in this red. At that altitude, they can also grow the grapes organically. This is a fine dining red. Open early and enjoy with red meat dishes – from roasts to casseroles.
