Ilkley Brewery turn out some stunning beers. A claim that's all the more impressive given they were only re-established three years ago (after a 100-year absence). Their philosophy is all about brewing world class beers distinctive in style, flavour and character. Winners of multiple awards, they pride themselves on always using the best ingredients: water from the Yorkshire Dales, English malted barley and hops sourced from all over the world. Their Mary Jane, a pale ale brewed with Amarillo and Cascade hops, certainly lives up to their ethos. Intensely refreshing, it boasts bright citrus aromas and lively hops and toffee notes, while bitterness on the finish gives it just the right amount of bite. The ideal easy-drinking session pale.

"This session pale has subtler flavour than some, but just enough refreshing citrus/toffee flavour" Kirsten Willis
