Il Pino proves that Italy’s cool climate north is a top region for fresh rosatos. The world’s favourite white grape, Pinot Grigio produces delightful, fresh rosé, too, thanks to its pink skins. Crisp and minerally with lovely summer berry fruit.

"Lovely rosé. We had this for a wine tasting and it went down a treat with everyone!"
Online Review For the 2017 vintage
Inland from Venice, the high altitude Adige Valley is home to some of the best quality Pinot Grigio in Italy – healthy, ripe grapes with light pink skins and terrific aromatic freshness make for elegant rosato. Il Pino is made by Giuseppe Secchi, senior winemaker at the 150 year old Concilio winery, and there’s nothing he doesn’t know about local speciality Pinot Grigio. His classic rosato is just the sort of wine chic Italians choose to drink in the lakeside bars and restaurants. 2018 was a very good vintage, with lots of warm summer sunshine to bring about full ripeness. Enjoy this pink’s bright, appealing, ripe, berry filled aroma and flavour. Elegant and refreshing on its own and an ideal match with seafood, a gentle risotto or salads.
