Thirty years ago Marlborough was known only for barley and sheep. The success story of this wine region is one of the most remarkable in modern times, and one in which Hunter's has played a major part. But, as well as establishing the bench-mark for classic NZ Sauvignon, Hunter’s was also the region’s second winery ever to produce fizz made with the traditional technique used in Champagne. It's a method that results in a greater density of bubbles and much more complex, yeasty flavours than most sparkling wines. It's little wonder critic James Suckling awarded it 91 points! Fine, creamy and seriously delicious, this is a luxurious rival to Brut Champagne that's guaranteed to impress. Drink as an aperitif, or with smoked salmon or seafood.

"Bright and fresh stone fruit, set in a crisp, fresh palate that has a smooth, berry sorbet finish" James Suckling
