Graševina is the queen of white grapes in Croatia, making wines bursting with apple and peach fruit. Customers have certainly taken it to their hearts: when we launched Kutjevo Graševina the 5-star reviews rolled in and the wine sold out fast. It's thanks in part to the 800-year-old Kutjevo winery; one of the finest in Croatia, with a long list of international awards. They have extensive vineyards close to mountains and the coast, explaining the lovely freshness of their wines. So we were thrilled when they offered us a limited parcel of their deluxe Graševina. Made with hand harvested grapes from the special micro-appellation Vetovo, and aged in Slavonian oak barrels, it sings with notes of honeyed peach, spice, flowers and quince.
