Western Australia’s idyllic Manjimup region is one of the most remote wine districts in the world. With its mineral-rich soils, pristine natural environment and relatively cool climate, it has the ideal elements to produce outstanding wines, especially Chardonnay. And it’s in this world-class region that you find the Graphite Road estate. Making the most of their surroundings, the team at Graphite Road pick the grapes early in the morning to preserve the freshness and delicate fruit flavours. Then ageing in French oak adds a gentle creamy richness to this moreish white. The result is a sumptuous Chardonnay with a palate full of bright peaches, nectarines and a hint of lemon tart. We love it served with simple pan-fried fish dishes.
