Here’s another new wave craft ale from an exciting microbrewery that opened up a few years ago, just down the road from our Gloucester cellars. Smooth, hoppy and satisfying, and at just 3.7% vol, there’s no harm in opening that tempting second can.
Tasting notes
Fresh and zingy with plenty of citrus and a hoppy finish
Aroma
Lifted aromas of lime, grapefruit and herbaceous hops

We built our business travelling to far flung destinations, to find you the tastiest new discoveries. However, we didn’t have to go far to bring you this irresistible little session ale. It’s from Gloucester Brewery, a short, head clearing stroll from our offices in Gloucester. And although it was only established in 2011, this smart little outfit has taken full advantage of the craft ale phenomenon that’s seen an explosion of microbreweries opening their doors. Of course, here in the UK we have a long, proud brewing tradition, and Jared Brown’s team is applying new styles and techniques to methods honed over centuries. This crisp session ale is crafted with New World hops to achieve that satisfying hoppy punch at a lunch friendly ABV.
