As bright and refreshing as its label would imply, this is Garnacha Blanca from Navarra’s high mountain vineyards. Here the pure sunshine and clear nights deliver wines that sing with freshness. Lemon crisp with a lifted herbal and floral aroma.

Spain’s Navarra is full of surprises, producing styles from traditional and oaky to the most modern and fresh. Flor de San Martín is certainly in the latter camp. A brilliantly zippy, fabulously fresh white made only from grapes grown in high altitude vineyards in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The little rain and dizzy heights found here result in wines full of intense crisp fruit flavour and lifted herbal aromas (flavours that are unique to the region), like this 2020. It’s made by winemaker Gonzalo Zelayeta, who works his magic at the modern San Martín de Unx winery, founded back in 1914. Using select parcels of hand harvested grapes, this is a truly refreshing white that's full of character. Enjoy well chilled with lighter dishes.
"Delightful combination of fruity flavours, notably apple, with a zesty overall taste. Excellent"
