Since Stéphane Robert and his wife Sandrine founded their domaine in 1994 they've attracted enormous praise from the likes of Decanter, Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate. The 11-hectare property stretches across three prestigious appellations – Cornas, Saint-Joseph and Saint-Péray – and their wines have become reference points for all three. Stunning complexity, richness, intensity and poise are apparent in every wine. Perhaps that should be of no surprise, when Stéphane was an apprentice at Domaine Jean-Louis Grippat – the beacon of Saint-Joseph. He has natural talent too. His Vin Noir takes three parcels of grapes from hillside vineyards over a century old, with 14 months ageing in barrel. Long, dense and complex, it will reward patience.

"Wines that will provide huge amounts of pleasure, straight out of the gate. An excellent vintage" Matt Walls, Decanter
