With over 45 awards in the last decade alone, it’s clear that Domaine Michel Thomas is a top notch family estate. It was founded in 1946 and, with 17 hectares scattered across the region, is today run by the third generation. We have been impressed with their wines for more than two decades and are delighted that customers share our enthusiasm. The Sancerre rosé is made purely from Pinot Noir, a variety that performs best in Burgundy, Champagne and, of course, here in Central Loire. Winemaker Laurent Thomas is an expert with the famously ‘temperamental’ Pinot Noir, knowing just when to pick for perfect ripeness. Bursting with floral, summer berry fruit, this is an elegant, crisp pink, tasty with lobster, seared tuna or roast chicken.
