An award winning, single vineyard red from Jean-Christophe Granier – a winemaker with a passion to make the very best. His wines have already won top awards and been named among the Top 100 wines of the Languedoc. Growing vines ran in the family, but Jean-Christophe chose a different path, becoming head of advertising at Revue du Vin de France. It was there he rediscovered his passion for wine. He studied viticulture and oenology, bought land and planted 8 hectares in the northerly part of the Coteaux du Languedoc and 2 hectares in Pic Saint Loup, near the Cévennes. The cool climate promotes elegance and depth in the wines and grippy tannins for ageing. With yields as low as 20 hectolitres per hectare, concentration is superb. Decant early.
