Domaine Arnoux Pere & Fils Chorey-lès-Beaune Les Beaumonts 2016

Chorey-Les-Beaunes AOC

Jancis Robinson MW called the 2016 from Burgundy good news: “A seriously delicious vintage.” The bad news was the paucity of wine. Enjoy all the more this perfumed, silky, appealing Burgundy from Domaine Arnoux from an early maturing appellation.

Burgundy can be a challenging place to find your way around but we promise you there is no better place to start than here. We have followed the wines of the Arnoux family for some years and have seen their reputation for quality and value go from strength to strength. Three generations have made wine at Domaine Arnoux and today Pascal and Caroline are at the helm. Chorey-lès-Beaune is a small appellation not seen very often. It tends to produce a delicious, early-drinking style, so no need to wait to enjoy this tasty 2016. It's full of ripe morello cherry and attractive earthy notes, fresh and fruity. Best alongside charcuterie or a fruity main course such as duck with plum sauce. Decant an hour in advance and serve in large glasses.

"Straightforward, delicious wine. It has a crisp end of acidity that gives it just the right lift" Wine Enthusiast
