Turns out it’s not only the Scots who can make fine single malt whisky. South of the border, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Daniel Szor founded and now heads The Cotswolds Distillery, home to this extraordinary, award winning whisky.
"Refined, complex and distinctive cask-aged single Malt that does England proud"
Alexandre Schuster Buyer of Spirits
The award winning Cotswolds Distillery, winner of ‘Best London Dry Gin’ at the 2016 World Gin Awards, has now fulfilled its original ambition of making fine malt whisky. Guidance was provided by an expert, the late Dr Jim Swan, powerhouse behind the rise of some famous New World whisky distilleries. Rich and fruity in style, Cotswolds Single Malt was matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and specially reconditioned and re-charred red wine casks. This gives it striking originality. So too does the Cotswolds grown, floor malted barley. The barley variety and even the farm where it was grown are listed on the bottle. Whisky specialist Jim Murray awards Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky 94/100 in his annual Whisky Bible. Serve with a dash of spring water.

friends and neighbours at home, things went so well that hundreds of little wineries all around the world were soon
queuing to take part. Today we're the UK's No.1 home-delivery wine merchant, with over 1,500 wines to choose from
including red, white, rosé, Champagne, Prosecco, spirits ... you name it. Tony's still at it - and now really good
at washing bottles. Read more
