Corsica’s wines remain “a well kept secret” (Rosemary George MW), all the more surprising when quality overall is high. This is a delightful fresh pink from Jacqueline Napoleoni and Roger Pouyau’s family estate, close to the village of Antisanti. Although Jacqueline’s roots on the island go back centuries, they have only owned this particular property since 1985. The couple have planted the estate’s extensive vineyards with native grapes – Sciacarello, Nielluccio, Vermentino and Aléatico – in terroir chosen to suit each variety. Pure Sciacarello, this charming pink has rose petal, citrus and spice aromas, with pretty berry fruit and a refreshing crispness. A rosé that’ll transport you to the magic landscape of Napoleon’s favourite island!

"Corsica’s charm filled wines should remain a secret no more – a pretty rosé with bags of character" Jean-Marc Sauboua
