As James Lawther MW of Decanter magazine notes, “The Languedoc has long been touted as France’s next big thing, with Corbières and Minervois home to its most dynamic, daring producers.” This rich, ripe charmer is from a century old estate owned and run by Vianney Castan, whose great-grandfather Joseph won top accolades from the judges at the 1927 International Exhibition in Montpellier. Vianney’s mission to live up to the example set by Joseph has resulted in a string of award winning wines, which we’re very proud to bring you. Vianney’s Corbières is a worthy testament to the Castan family’s determination to always put quality first. A tasty drop on its own, it’s spot-on with roast leg of lamb, a rich cassoulet-style stew or charcuterie.
