Situated in the Castelviel and Gornac communes, in heart of the Entre-deux-Mers area, this 25 hectare vineyard is planted on sunny drenched south-facing slopes. Some of these hills reach 140 meters in height, it is in fact one of the highest point of the Gironde department and in addition to this perfect sunny exposure for optimum ripeness, the vines are planted on very good limestone-clay soils, perfect for Bordeaux grapes to express their full potential. It's a classic Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) blend from vines averaging 25 years of age. Blackcurrant and liquorice on the nose develops into a delicate cherry and black fruit palate. Seriously structured with refined tannins, it ticks all the boxes and ends in a long, fruit-forward finish.
