More information
A precise selection of Chardonnay from four Grands Crus and one Premier Cru, all in the Côte des Blancs, Blanc des Millénaires 1995 is an exquisite expression of a superb vintage. This Champagne spent 15 years maturing in 2,000 year old Gallo Roman chalk cellars, after which it is named, and which inspired the curves in the design of the unique gift box. It’s a flagship wine from the house set up by Charles Heidsieck in 1851. Heidsieck is hailed as the man who first made Champagne popular in North America. Nicknamed Champagne Charlie, he became the toast of New York society. This rare 1995 is a voluptuous Champagne with decided aged complexity, subtle hints of salted caramel, almond milk, vanilla and cedar. A splendid treat of a Champagne.
