Château Puy-Blanquet is a fine example of the quality that can be found in wines from the renowned 2015 vintage. James Suckling described it as "a fantastic year, producing rich and opulent reds with ripe and velvety tannins." The Puy Blanquet estate is owned by Madame Marcelle Jacquet, and sits on the eastern side of Saint Émilion. This area’s clay soils are mixed with limestone, imparting both concentration and perfume to the wines. The aromatics are intriguing, complex and inviting. Expressive violet, cassis, plum and anise, with layers of fruit, spice and earth notes, complexity and maturity. Although five years old, it's still ageing gracefully, drinking well now or can be cellared. A fine red for roast meats or stuffed aubergine.

"A lovely wine. Sweet red cherry and raspberry fruit give the wine brightness and lift" Vinous
