This intriguing white perfectly illustrates the qualities that won Farnese the title ‘Winery of the Year’ three years running – dedication to rare local varieties like this delicious Pecorino, combined with top notch winemaking from the highly talented Dennis Verdiccia. Dennis passed his oenology degree with the top mark in his year, then went on to make wine all over Italy and the New World. We have worked with Farnese for over 30 years now and have exclusive access to many of their highly sought after wines. The grapes for this enticing Pecorino are all sourced from the cooler, high slopes of the Abruzzo. The perfect party wine, Casale Vecchia is a refreshing drop on its own and is also delicious with white fish, chicken or seafood.

"Never tried Pecorino? With all its ripe apricot and zesty lemon fruit, it's pure deliciousness!" Leonardo Bassano
