A tasty, fun, well priced sparkler from the winemaker behind our bestselling Pinot Grigio. Campanula’s winemaker, Gábor Laczkó, knows just how to get the most from his grapes, fermented here to lend crisp, floral, lemony fruit and a creamy mousse.
"A very pretty, opulent floral nose with hints of spice. a clean, minerally flavor. Fun"
Our popular Campanula wines come from Hungary, a country with a long and regal history in winemaking. Hungary is most famous for its amazing sweet wine, Tokaji, but over the years, it's also proved itself well suited to a whole range of native and international stars. This fun, good value sparkler is from an award winning cellar established in 1949 in the village of Etyek, 50 kilometres from Budapest, and shows just what fantastic quality and value Hungary offers. Winemaker Gábor Laczkó has won many awards for this tasty, any-time fizz. It is an unusual blend that provides just the right balance of richness, depth and character with lemony freshness and a creamy mousse. A must for everyday celebrations, it's a great party wine, too.

Laithwaite's began in 1969, when geography student Tony Laithwaite took a job washing bottles in Bordeaux ...

friends and neighbours at home, things went so well that hundreds of little wineries all around the world were soon
queuing to take part. Today we're the UK's No.1 home-delivery wine merchant, with over 1,500 wines to choose from
including red, white, rosé, Champagne, Prosecco, spirits ... you name it. Tony's still at it - and now really good
at washing bottles. Read more
