Brewdog Punk IPA NV

Aberdeenshire

BrewDog’s Punk IPA – a rebellion against conventional, mass produced, tasteless beer, and cheers to full flavour, full throttle craft ale. This is a traditional IPA given a thoroughly modern kick of tropical fruit, biscuity notes and a bitter finish.

BrewDog is a phenomenon and the Punk IPA is one of their finest, most popular brews. BrewDog was set up in 2007 as a ‘punk style’ garage brewery in Aberdeenshire. Its founders are masters in self promotion, pulling off stunts like having their own beer banned, serving the world’s strongest beer in dead squirrels, dispensing another through a stag's head – all in the name of publicity. Growth worldwide has been stratospheric, but that’s no surprise when every one of their beers is a star, each packed with flavour and refreshment. Punk IPA was among their first releases – “a post modern classic, spiky, tropical, hoppy”. A blend of six Kiwi hops and lightly toasted malt, it’s packed with flavour, with bright fruit and an ideal bitter finish.

"A riotous fusion of bright tropical fruit, an IPA with attitude, from the bad dogs of brewing" Alex Schuster
