Tempranillo lovers take note – this is a silky, rich, red crafted from the top wines of three regions. Why be confined to one when the combination of three appellations makes a more luscious, fruit filled wine? Winemaker at this family owned, two time ‘Spanish Winery of the Year’, Antolin Gonzalez picked out top cuvées from ancient regions Toro, Valdepeñas and La Mancha. Close to Ribera del Duero, Toro is renowned for dense, weighty wines and lends power to the blend. Famed for Rioja-like Gran Reservas, Valdepeñas brings a delicate fragrance and elegance. The cuvée from La Mancha is juicy and fruit filled. A little oak ageing to the blend adds a gentle hint of spice to the raspberry richness. A moreish, easy going red to serve any time.
