Australia’s answer to Big Reds like El Bombero or Le XV, The Full Fifteen is a powerful customer favourite boasting pages of 5-Star reviews online. Punnets of strawberry, blackberry and raspberry flavour are miraculously shoehorned into a standard size bottle, while ageing in American oak adds a spicy, toasty finishing touch. ‘Big Mac’ McPherson created this wine originally, but passed over the secrets to Jo Nash when, in 2011, he appointed her head winemaker. She is something of a legend in Aussie winemaking circles, managing to combine the chief winemaker position with being mum of four! We think this is the best ever vintage of The Full Fifteen. Perfect with roast beef or lamb and a wonderful companion to barbecues and winter casseroles.
