King of the Black Reds, Hervé Sabardeil brings you this gorgeous, rich, ripe red, now with a wicked new twist. For years customers have bought case after case of Rex Mundi. A devilishly delicious blend of spice-laden Shiraz and plummy Grenache from the craggy hillsides of Roussillon. It’s in this inhospitable landscape where medieval Cathars use to live in awe of the evil god Rex Mundi (‘King of the World’). Now Hervé delivers all that irresistible, ripe plum flavour on a wave of tiny bubbles. Bringing the Australian trend over to Europe, he’s showing just how diverse and exciting the Languedoc is by making this luscious, sparkling red. Fizzing with seductive sparkle, sweet raspberry and black fruit spice, it’s a great party or bbq choice.
