For fans of elegant pinks, there’s one style that trumps all others – Provençal rosé. As the only wine region to specialise in rosé production, Provence not only offers “a wine for almost any occasion, but also guarantees quality” says the Independent. And this cooperative delivers just that, with value. As one of the oldest cellars in the region, it has been crafting fine rosé since 1912. Owned by a small group of growers, its humble size ensures meticulous care in both vineyard and cellar. Last year alone it won an impressive 61 medals! The Grenache and Cinsault grapes that make up a large portion of the blend were harvested from the high-altitude, limestone slopes of Sainte-Baume. Full of fresh berry flavour it has a crisp mineral edge.
