From a family winery in Ribeiro, founded 70 years ago, Campante is a dazzling, citrusy, lightly tropical white. If you're a Sauvignon lover, definitely try this wine. Pablo Estevez is the man behind it, a hugely well qualified winemaker, who has had research papers published and was awarded Top Winemaker of Spain for Young Wines 2019. He also won 'Best in Show' at the Decanter Wine Awards. Campante is an exciting new blend of Palomino and Treixadura, harvested at night and cool fermented to capture maximum expression and zip. Citrusy with floral and bright apple and peach notes, it makes a refreshing glass on its own. Its elegance works well with grilled white fish, a fresh herb omelette or lighter Japanese cuisine, like noodles or sushi.
