Cleanskin Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Adelaide Hills

When it comes to mouthwatering Aussie Sauvignon, few regions compare to the Adelaide Hills. They are home to Australia’s “winemaking royalty” (Max Allen, ‘Crush’) one of whom must have made this cleanskin beauty. Pure, crisp and dazzling fresh.

Whether you’re a fan of Sauvignon from New Zealand, France or elsewhere, you must try this ‘little ripper’ from one of Australia’s finest white wine regions, the Adelaide Hills. You’ll notice it’s a ‘cleanskin’ – in other words the estate did not put their own label on the bottle. Why? Because they sold a few cases to our Buyer Dan at well below the going rate (to shift stock) and they wouldn’t want regular customers finding out. So bag yourself a bargain. Fermented without oak to retain its grapefruit freshness, this mouthwatering wine is distinctly ‘Sauvignon’ and ‘Australian’ at the same time. You may never have had anything quite like it. But like it you will. Love it in fact! Especially good with seared swordfish and limey salsa.

"Lovely refreshing Sauvignon, a great alternative to Kiwi. So good – ordered a second case. 5-Stars" Online Reviewer
