Chat with Vinny
In 2023, we are delighted to offer Vineyard Partners an opportunity – either in May or June – to visit Jean-Marc Sauboua at his beautiful, high-in-the-clouds Altos estate, plus a few other great Rioja friends.
We visit the Muriel family's Bodegas Conde de los Andes, the cellar behind our much-loved Barón de Barbón wines. There, alongside a late lunch, we discover how food-friendly the wines of Rioja are. There's an exciting visit to the historical cellars of Lopez de Heredia in Haro, plus lunch another day at the beautiful Finca Valpiedra estate, which belongs to one of Tony's oldest friends in the region, Carlos Martínez Bujanda.
Highlight of the visit must be the day with Jean-Marc and his team at Altos de Rioja, so you can experience it all for yourself. Meet the team, have a tour of the cellar, see how the wine is made and enjoy a full tasting of the wines.
Just 35 Vineyard Partners can join this exciting tour, so do get in touch with our tour organiser, Cindy-Marie Harvey, very soon for a full day-by-day itinerary and to confirm your place!
