About the manager
I’m Chris, the manager of both Surbiton and Hersham, and I’ve been with Laithwaites six and a half years. I’ve lived and breathed wine retail since 2010 and took to it like a duck to water, completing my WSET Level 4 Diploma in 2015. I adore wines from Tuscany, in particular Chianti so the Selva del Moro Organic Chianti Classico Riserva 2019 is never far from my glass. Bursting with red cherry and sweet spice this dazzles me with its impressive intensity, complexity and length of finish. All that with change from a £20 note too!
