1969 – 2009 Celebrating 40 Years of Laithwaites
Selected amongst Condé Nast Traveller magazine's Hot List 2008, Hotel TerraVina is a luxury boutique hotel, the brainchild of Gerard Basset and his wife Nina.
You'll know Gerard as co-founder of the original Hotel du Vin group. Laithwaites have been fans of Gerard from our earliest HdV dinner in January 1995
– there is no more highly qualified, or affable, man in the business. He holds the three following wine qualifications: Master Sommelier, Master of Wine and Wine MBA.
Nina Basset qualified from Westminster Hotel School and was, at the age of 21, the youngest
ever AA hotel inspector. She was also involved in the set up of the first Hotel du Vin in Winchester.
Our Short Break deal includes a Champagne reception,
fantastic four-course dinner with carefully matched Laithwaites wines, overnight accommodation in one of just 11 stylishly and individually designed
rooms and full English breakfast the following morning – and all for just £280 based on two sharing!
There are a limited number of ‘Dinner Only’ tickets available which include the Champagne reception and four-course dinner with wines for £82.50 per person.

We are delighted to be returning to the family-owned and run hotel that's just a stone's throw from Buckingham Palace and has earned a reputation as one of London's finest hotels.
Our special guests and your hosts for this sumptuous dinner will be Nicolas Potel and his UK agent, Graham Gardner.
Nicolas will show a superb selection of white and red Burgundies to accompany a stellar five-course meal specially created and prepared by The Goring's Head Chef, Derek Quelch.
