Description
To remind him of home, Italian ex-pat Alberto Romeo planted a few Sangiovese vines (seldom seen outside of Italy) alongside his estate's usual Shiraz in sun-soaked Mendoza. Intrigued by this rarity, master winemaker Opi Sadler took a few parcels of Alberto's Sangiovese to blend with a little Shiraz … resulting in a wine of exceptional flavour!

Thanks to Alberto's sun-ripened fruit - and Opi's expert touch - luxuriously rich Il Primo is dripping with juicy cherry flavour. Think fine Chianti Classico … but with more berry fruit and spice. An excellent glass on its own or the perfect partner to spicy meatballs and pasta. Enjoy!
