Forbes Estate Oak Aged Shiraz 2006 swept the boards at the Royal Queensland Show (Best in Class, Best Red and Grand Champion), and also won triple Gold at three other important national competitions. Ian and Ros Forbes were delighted, even if they did have to rebuild their trophy cabinet!

They blended premium Shiraz from their Mildura vines with specially selected parcels from the famous Barossa and Eden Valleys … and aged the wine for a year in American and French oak. Down Under's leading wine writer James Halliday adored this when he tried it, giving it the same 95-point score as £50-a-bottle Penfolds RWT Shiraz!
