Bilbul Road is the site of the De Bortoli's original winery, where Darren De Bortoli crafts this inky black, super-rich Durif.
Founded in 1928 by Darren's grandfather Vittorio De Bortoli, the estate is one of Australia's foremost family producers and was recently voted 'Winery of the Year' by three leading wine authorities!
Full of bramble and blackcurrant … it's easy to see why Durif is an Aussie phenomenon! In De Bortoli's capable hands, the grape completely flourishes, producing a superbly rich, concentrated red that's overflowing with ripe berry character. Enjoy a generous glass with steak or spaghetti bolognaise.
