Winemaker Luciano Vettori, a master of frizzante wines, uses a modern approach to create this centuries-old Summer treat. For his Fragolino he takes ripe Merlot grapes, adds refreshing bubbles and a gorgeously ripe strawberry twist.

“Lovely deep crimson colour and billowing wild strawberry aroma. Black cherry and bramble fruit (hallmark flavours of a good Italian red), gentle bubbles and that delicious, ripe strawberry flavour. Serve well chilled with fruit tarts and Summer puddings.”
